The medieval market town of Bury St Edmunds is set within some of Suffolk’s finest countryside, surrounded by attractive villages, country parks and forests. Judged ‘best little town in the world’ at the Nations in Bloom finals in 1999, it continues to be a popular destination for tourists.

An Edwardian resort that has retained its charm over the ages, with a seafront promenade of over 4 miles beside a sand & shingle beach. The TIC is situated in the main resort on the sea front at the bottom of Convalescent Hill next to the town hall.

Stour Valley’s is known for its connections with famous artists; East Bergholt is the birthplace of Constable and Flatford is the site of many of his paintings. Dedham Vale is classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The TIC is near the National Trust properties in Flatford Lane.

England’s most Easterly point, steeped in maritime history, is home to award winning beaches and also an ideal base to explore the Southern Broads. The Information Centre is located along Lowestoft’s glorious seafront, next to Royal Green and opposite the Royal Plain Fountains.

Maldon District is a rural area with 60 miles of coastline. The town itself has a long history allied to sea-trading. The TIC, in the town centre, is just a few minutes walk from Hythe Quay, home to the largest fleet of Thames Sailing Barges on the east coast.
