THE UFO CODEBOOK: It wasn’t until 1998 (some time after first embarking upon this quest) that I found out what that rule-book was. I had spotted it, whilst summarising my observations. I hadn’t been looking for a book of instructions prior to that point, but the clues to their connection to the bible were indelibly printed all over these phenomena. These phenomena were diverse, because they had to reflect the diversity of the bible, and, at the very same time, they had to reflect the connection to extraterrestrials.
Job 38: “God's answer to Job” is a classic, Old Testament, example of this deliberate incorporation of data to connect the bible to extraterrestrials…
“[38:31] canst thou fasten the bands of the Pleiades, or loosen the cords of Orion? [38:32] Dost thou bring forth the constellations each in its season? Or dost thou guide the Bear with her sons? [38:33] Knowest thou the ordinances of the heavens? Dost thou determine their rule over the earth?”
Rule over the earth; now what would that mean? Were they referring to the motional synchronisation of constellations to the seasons, or were they referring to something else? As a matter of fact, I noted that the repetitious biblical use of numbers 3, 6, 7, and 13, had a purposeful relationship to those very same stellar groups.
The Pleiades, for instance, is most certainly connected to the numbers 6, & 7. After all, the stars of the Pleiades were formally known as the “Seven Sisters”. The Pleiadesian numerical anomaly is a curious talking point. Back in the days before telescopes, when the Seven Sisters was so-named, only six of its stars had sufficient brightness to qualify for naked eye astronomy. Following-on from that, my theory is that the number 13 was merely the product of 6+7.
There are also a great number of references to the number three in the bible, and one source would appear to be the three bright stars in Orion’s Belt. Like the Pleiades, Orion is also mentioned in Job 38:31. Likewise, seven bright stars in Ursa Major (“The Big Dipper”/”The Plough”: part of the Great Bear) are, in effect, mentioned in Job 38:31.
I honestly don’t remember anything strange occurring in my life, prior to the spring of 1972, although I did have a school friend who had experienced a close encounter with a UFO. There was nothing scary about my 1972 experience, and its significance would remain a complete mystery for decades. Nevertheless, the clues were there to be found, and find them I would...
A.M. or P.M.? When I was a teenager, my grandparents often took me with them on weekend caravanning excursions. Starting when I was only fourteen, this happened fairly regularly between the years 1971 and 1974. There was only one occasion during those times that anything odd had occurred, and that fact would turn out to be a clue in its own right. Indeed, what I would later find was that such unaccountable weirdness only took place under the right set of conditions. To put it another way, I found that these things had to be synchronised before anything would happen. Synchronisations included factors such as: You had to be in the right place, it had to be the right time, you had to have the right name, and, quite often, you needed to be accompanied by someone with the right name as well. As a matter of fact, this bizarre occurrence took place in the county of Hertfordshire, England, aside a country lane with a reputation for sightings of ghostly white horses. This narrow road is actually named ‘White Horse Lane’, and there are two such locations in the county of Hertfordshire. Curiously enough, both routes bearing the title ‘White Horse Lane’ have associated reports regarding the sight and/or sound of a ghostly horse. But my account doesn’t follow that stereotypical pattern. Nonetheless, this occurrence had an exceedingly subtle ‘twist’ that matches to the overall scheme.
It was the start of a weekend in May of 1972, and my grandparents had, for want of a better expression, ‘set-up camp’ in a farmer’s field that had been rented out to the Hertfordshire Caravan Club. Situated somewhat closer than was the norm, the site was only four-or-so miles away from my home at that time, and it directly overlooked White Horse Lane. It must have been Friday evening when the bizarre event occurred; a moment when dusk had softened the shadows into barely distinguishable pastel shades. Walking around with a friend; a younger brother of two boys named Matthews, we had approached the embankment adjacent to the lane.
Having arrived there, we were almost instantly startled by the sounds of children playing in a schoolyard. We noted that the time was roughly 9pm, and looked at each other in sheer disbelief. This was crazy, as the sounds that we were hearing were the excited cries of children that couldn’t have been much more than seven years of age. Surely kids of that age should have been tucked-up in bed by that time of night? The sounds faded away a quickly as they had come. Utterly baffled by it all, we looked out across White Horse Lane, into the fields and clumps of trees that lay on its other side. We saw nothing, and visually scanning the entire area was an equally fruitless task. With no repetition of the phenomenon, or clue as to where the sounds might have come from, this memory simply became filed in my mind as being no more than a curious, meaningless incident. And there it remained, losing some of its detail, and gathering a thick, if metaphorical, ‘layer of dust’. Indeed, any critical analysis of this occurrence would have to wait until the late 1990’s, as its significance could not be ascertained without specialist knowledge. To complicate matters, I didn’t know that this experience was connected to the reports of ghostly white horses, or that the case even required analysis. This, it would seem, is the crux of the issue, and I shall attempt to demonstrate how that specialist knowledge applies to this particular case... The problem here starts with the old cultural assumptions regarding apparitions, further complicated by later scientific assertions that there was no evidence for such occurrences. The resultant division has only acted to confuse the issue, not to solve the mystery. As an individual, I feel that there is no need to obey the unwritten rules of either school of thought, especially as both have failed to challenge the issue head-on. Indeed, the older cultural assumptions place such apparitions in a Pandora’s Box; a twilight zone composed of fearsome, demonic spirits that roam the earth in search of human souls. Assuming, therefore, that no other answers are applicable, the old school of thought is driven by nothing more than superstitions and fear. Assuming that nothing could be happening, the newer school is driven by another, hand-me-down form of ignorance.
Given that such manifestations will only appear under the right set of conditions, I must conclude that they are artificial in nature. As the underlying symbolism is common, the type of manifestation employed is, by-and-large, irrelevant. Given this, and with due regard to my (1972) case, there seems no reason to suppose that all abnormal occurrences in White Horse Lane would need to involve the sighting of a ghostly white horse. (Perhaps I should add that such ghostly apparitions are so unbelievably illogical that one has to ask who is pulling the metaphorical strings anyway.) The reason why I was able to pinpoint this case as being one that fitted with the general scheme had to do with the white horse theme. Horses would appear to play an essential symbolic role in this business, and I would venture to suggest that such a venue supplies a focal point, a starter clue. (In my case, the event had taken place very close to the junction between White Horse Lane and the even narrower ‘Coltsfoot Lane’.) This hypothesis would certainly apply to my example, as the event carried with it a body of information that could only be extracted by the application of reanalysed biblical messages.
The UFO Codebook... In order to further define what I had found in that 1972 occurrence, I need to explain just what I mean by “reanalysed biblical messages.” You see; the messages subsequently extracted from this example were only obtained through a process that I had identified through a long process of analysis. It was found retrospectively; I had needed to examine numerous other accounts to find the linking factors. And within that protracted study I found a recurring theme. It was a theme that ran, consistently, through a number of different types of phenomenon, and that factor most certainly included UFOs. These phenomena were clearly linked, as careful study had demonstrated that this ‘common theme’ very strongly reflected passages in the bible. Not in the slightest bit random, these phenomena all obeyed a common set of rules, with extreme, mechanistic precision; and those rules were quite definitely biblical in origin. After conducting this study, I found myself looking a set of phenomena that were artificially generated. By any classical definition, these phenomena were obviously bogus. Yet in culturally unbiased terms these phenomena were real, certainly in the sense that they were being experienced. With no religious affiliations, I hadn’t previously considered the significance of the bible’s passages. So when I examined the biblical passages more closely, I could identify certain incongruities that fitted far better with the UFO phenomenon than they did with the classical perception. And when I examined the same biblical symbolism in the UFO phenomenon, it slowly began to dawn on me that I was looking at evidence to imply that the bible was their responsibility; their invention/creation. All of a sudden, the true significance of the title "Chariots of the Gods" was emerging. Then I came across statements from an American gentleman, by the name of Robert Dean. Robert stated that NATO had conducted its own inquiry into the UFO phenomenon, way back in the 1960s. Robert explained that this report had been completed in 1967, but that the US military had obtained such information, some twenty years earlier. Robert had learned from this research effort that extraterrestrials had, indeed, been behind the development and propagation of religious faiths. Undeniably, Robert’s public statements precisely matched with to my own findings on the UFO phenomenon. But these observations regarding the connection between extraterrestrials and religion also supply a reason why the US authorities might be so reluctant to admit to what they had learned. Any frank admission by the US authorities as to the known bogus nature of religion would inevitably result in the collapse of such religious institutions. From their viewpoint, any admission would be unthinkable, and have unthinkable consequences. Yet, for all of their efforts to suppress or restrict the information, the truth is that said information is plastered all over the UFO phenomenon. Even worse from their point of view is the fact that other phenomena groups track this symbolism to a tee. By the applying the process that I have unearthed, it is possible to identify the different biblical passages that are being enacted through them. Returning to White Horse Lane, 1972... Converting the bible into a codebook, the Darby version of Revelation 19 (New Testament): ‘Marriage supper of the lamb’ has something to say about white horses... [19:11] And I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and one sitting on it, [called] Faithful and True, and he judges and makes war in righteousness. [19:12] And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head many diadems, having a name written which no one knows but himself; [19:13] and [he is] clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God. [19:14] And the armies which [are] in the heaven, followed him upon white horses clad in white, pure, fine linen.
There are yet more equine clues to be found in that area of Hertfordshire. There are numerous references to the name ‘Mardley’, which appears to be a reference to a place where mares were kept, and/or horses were bred. Indeed, Mardleybury Road joins onto White Horse Lane, as it enters the nearby village of Woolmer Green. In turn, Mardleybury road leads on to Mardley Hill, and that road leads directly into a place named Mardley Heath & Oaklands.
They seem like a pretty good starter clues. But in order to explain how the subtle UFO twist fitted into this case, I should first make it clear that my grandparents had made friends with a family by the name of ‘Matthews’. They had done so as a result of their frequent caravanning weekends, an activity that was duplicated by the Matthews family. As I recall, the Matthews’s had two sons; one named Andrew, the other named Paul. Seemingly innocuous, the names of the two boys were not the cause of jocularity until it was realised that their respective initials were ‘A.M.’ & ‘P.M.’. Indeed, the younger of the two brothers told me that this had become a common joke at school. Whilst it probably has no bearing upon the conclusions, it is with the deepest regret that I have to admit that I am unable to remember which of the brothers was the younger. It is, however, well within my capabilities to recall that I had made friends with the younger one, and that it was him who had been with me at the time of the strange occurrence. The ‘AM/PM’ turn-around would fit with the sounds of children in a schoolyard, as though it were 9:00 am, not 9:00 pm. But it would fit with more than just that, as schoolyards mean school, and schools mean teaching. And there’s another factor to consider. I’ve been along that lane many times since then, but the only time that anything had ever happened was when I was in the company of someone name Matthews. Given the name ‘Matthew’, the connection to school, the fact that the word ‘gate’ used to mean ‘street’, and White Horse Lane is a narrow road, Matthew 7: ‘Jesus' sermon continued’ seems to furnish a clue of its own... ..."[7:13] Enter in through the narrow gate, for wide the gate and broad the way that leads to destruction, and many are they who enter in through it. [7:14] For narrow the gate and straitened the way that leads to life, and they are few who find it."... Find it? Now that’s a bizarre thing for Jesus Christ to say. Nevertheless, I would appear to be one of the few who have found ‘it’. And it would thus appear this particular ‘it’ isn’t quite the same ‘it’ that was expected by the religious fraternity. My 1972 experience wasn’t some one-off coincidence, and perhaps the most contentious of all UFO mysteries possesses precisely the same kind of symbolism.

Horseshoe Lagoon
Upon investigation, I had not only discovered that the ghostly spookiness of White Horse Lane had a link to spooky home affairs, but also that such peculiar phenomena had many other interconnected facets. The same interconnection had even been true for my school friend, David Mardlin. Sometime around 1969, whilst young David Mardlin was out playing near the railway lines on Mardley Heath, Woolmer Green, Hertfordshire, something strange happened. David could never recall how the encounter had started, as though his memory had been blanked. Nevertheless, David could clearly remember how his encounter with a saucer-shaped craft had ended. I believe this was part of a deliberate clue-implantation procedure, because David could easily recall how the saucer had taken off, and how it departed at super speed.
It is most interesting that David should have been on Mardley Heath land at the time of the UFO encounter, rather than sneekily abducted from his bedroom in Woolmer Green village in the wee small hours of the morning. Yes, why be so indescreet? As a matter of fact, David used to comment on the name connections between ‘Mardlin’ and the local places. As I have stated before, there are numerous local references to the name ‘Mardley’ in the area at the Woolmer Green end of White Horse Lane. Mardley appears to be a reference to a place where mares were kept, and/or horses were bred. Indeed, Mardleybury Road joins onto White Horse Lane In turn, Mardleybury road leads on to Mardley Hill, and that road leads directly into a place named Mardley Heath & Oaklands. As for Mardlin; well, as with Mardley, the name ‘Mardlin’ means ‘keeper of mares, or, breeder of horses’.
But what of the extraterrestrials involved in this malarkey; Originally, I had assumed that ETs had merely been mistaken for gods. However, my latter hypothesis was that ETs had not been merely mistaken for gods, but had actually used their own technology to appear like gods. That implies that biblical passages are fair game for re-interpretation. My personal theory is that religion would have been employed to avoid the problems of giving genuine knowledge to immature societies, who would otherwise blow themselves to bits with that knowledge. Religion provided the civilising fear/reward of god, through false enlightenment.
Further evidence for the horse cult/biblical link and, by default, to the Roswell affair, can be observed in a 1960s UFO encounter. With reference to said incident, the following passage has been transcribed from page 306 of ‘The UFO Encyclopaedia’ (1991), compiled & edited by John Spencer: "On 19 January 1966 banana grower George Pedley, in Horseshoe Lagoon, Queensland, Australia, was driving his tractor early in the morning when he heard a loud rushing noise. Just a few yards ahead of him a grey-blue spinning UFO was rising into the air. He estimated that it was about 25 feet wide and nine feet high and at an altitude of about 60 feet, apparently disappearing at amazing speed. On investigation Pedley discovered landing traces in the form of a circular area of flattened grass." This occurrence was certainly odd, and there can’t be many people who can say that they had had that kind of experience. Indeed, the rarity of the event, combined with its artful synchronization, makes the likelihood of it being a chance meeting seems rather implausible. Although it may be natural to presume that this was purely coincidental, such a notion takes a further, undoubtedly fatal, battering when other factors are considered. My first point is that the location of this occurrence was Horseshoe Lagoon, and, as I have previously demonstrated, horses are very much part of the overall scheme. Secondly, the date of this sighting was no coincidence either, as ‘the 19th of January 1966 converts to: 1+9+1+1+9+6+6, which equals 33, where 3+3 equals 6. Thirdly, note that the year was ’66, and that John’s ‘Revelations’ is the bible’s book number 66. Further to those observations, and with regard to the name ‘Horseshoe’, I note a link between this Australian coastal location and that of Wiltshire, England. The name ‘Pedley’ would appear to have been taken from one who lived at ‘Pedley Barton’, in East Worlington, Devon, England. (‘Barton’ means ‘Barley Farm’ or, ‘Barley Farmer’) The source of the name ‘Pedley’ was in the Norman-French for ‘Wolf Foot’ (Orig. nickname for a stealthy person). The name ‘George’ actually means ‘Farmer’. Where ancient horse cults entered the bible:
Revelation 6: ‘Seals one through six’ has this to say about the connections: ..."[6:1] and I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as a voice of thunder, Come [and see]. [6:2] And I saw: and behold, a white horse, and he that sat upon it having a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and that he might conquer. [6:3] and when it opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come [and see]. [6:4] And another, a red horse, went forth; and to him that sat upon it, to him it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another; and there was given to him a great sword. [6:5] And when it opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come [and see]. And I saw: and behold, a black horse, and he that sat upon it having a balance in his hand.
[6:6] And I heard as a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, a choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixes of barley for a denarius: and do not injure the oil and the wine. [6:7] And when it opened the fourth seal, I heard [the voice of] the fourth living creature saying, Come [and see]. [6:8] And I saw: and behold, a pale horse, and he that sat upon it, his name [was] Death, and hades followed with him; and authority was given to him over the fourth of the earth to slay with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and by the beasts of the earth. [6:9] And when it opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that had been slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held; [6:10] and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O sovereign Ruler, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell upon the earth?"... There we have the UFO/biblical link again. But there’s an even bigger twist to be found. More recent public familiarity with ‘The Greys’ can be found echoed in the name ‘Lesley’, which means ‘Keeper of the Grey Fort’. This is a curious, if somewhat humorous, connection, as Horseshoe Lagoon is part of the ‘Wellesley’ Island group.
