Your perfect weekend - Devon
Discover Devon - unique, glorious, wild and wonderful, rich in history - a really special place, whatever the time of year. Unique with two different coastlines - bare rugged cliffs, surf washed sands, white pebble beaches, stunning resorts, hidden wooded estuaries and the Jurassic Coast - England's first natural World Heritage Site.

My Perfect English weekend would involve going back to Devon's South Coast. Whatever the weather, the scenery is magnificent, the locals friendly and the reception warm. I'd get a boat over glistening waters from Torbay to Dartmouth, walk up the estuary to Totnes and then head to Haytor or Avon Dam on Dartmoor. Then i'd round the day off in a suitably inviting hostelry and some locally brewed scrumpy!

As it is a world away from the usual daily routine and the people and very welcoming

My perfect weekend would start with a long walk along some of the beautiful south west coastal path, with a ploughmans lunch, in an oldy worldy village pub, then relaxing in a small country bed and breakfast and finishing with a visit to Dartmoor.

My perfect weekend would start with the most perfect date Daniel Craig picking me up in the Aston Martin borrowed from the Casino Royal film set, we'd drive to St.Ives, staying at a top class hotel, having a spa treatment or two, then have a meal cooked for us by Gordon Ramsay, then Daniel and I would go off and watch the sunset, bliss!

A summers day on the beach in Devon at Dartmouth Sands, followed by dinner at a restaurant overlooking the sea. The following day take the car to Dartmoor and enjoy a hike through the beautiful National Park and climb a few tors, before having a traditional Ploughmans lunch in a pub.
